Water line pressure that finds a weak joint or a frozen section doesn't stay contained — it travels through the wall cavity before it ever shows on the surface.
We open the wall cavity carefully, only as far as moisture readings say is necessary, rather than tearing out an entire wall.
Stopping the water source is priority one before any extraction begins.
We use pressure testing and moisture tracing to locate exactly where a supply line failed inside the wall.
Drywall and insulation come out only where moisture readings confirm saturation, not the entire wall.
Our Kistler, WV team works alongside your plumber or one we can refer, so the repair and drying stay coordinated.
A burst pipe call has a specific sequence — find the source, stop it, open only what's necessary, and coordinate repair — here's how our Kistler, WV crews run it.
If the source is still running, shutoff is priority one.
We locate the failure point before opening any drywall, avoiding guesswork demolition.
We extract from within the cavity itself, not just the surface that's visible.
We remove only the insulation and drywall sections that moisture readings confirm are compromised.
Drying continues until wall cavity moisture readings hit dry standard.
We coordinate scheduling with a licensed plumber for the pipe repair itself.
A quick call helps us prioritize the dispatch appropriately.
Equipment for wall cavity work is brought along by default for burst pipe calls.
A pressure and moisture assessment comes before any wall opening.
Final sign-off includes verified dry readings and a repair handoff.
"They found our shutoff valve in about thirty seconds since we had no idea it existed, then got straight to work on the wall." — Holly T.
"Only opened up the section of wall that was actually wet instead of the whole thing. Saved us a lot on drywall repair." — Andre L.
"They coordinated directly with our plumber so the pipe got fixed the same week the wall was already open." — Priscilla W.
We can confirm which you're dealing with during the initial assessment.
No, we remove drywall only at the confirmed wet line based on moisture readings.
Pipe repair is handled by a licensed plumber we coordinate with, while we manage extraction and drying.
Avoid the area near standing water and electrical outlets until our technician confirms it's safe.
Drying time depends on cavity size and how long water was actively leaking before shutoff.
